U.S. ISM manufacturing sharply declined in January
U.S. ISM manufacturing index strictly fell to 51.3 in January, and previous month’s data revised down to 56.5 from 57.0. Economists’ average estimate was 56.0 for January. The biggest reason is steep decrease in new orders. According to report, new orders decreased to 51.2 in January from 64.4 in December.
