Since October 2007, Dow Jones Saw 14,000 Levels for the First Time
As of February 1, U.S. markets continued to see the record levels. S&P 500 index and Dow Jones Industrial Average rose by 1.01% and 1.08%, reaching 1,513.17 and 14,009.79, respectively. Dow saw the highest closing level since October 2007. Employment situation data supported the improvement in the U.S. economy, especially upward revision of previous non-farm payrolls data to 196,000 from 155,000.
